Last year, Suspect Video owner Luis Ceriz and ShockTillYouDrop editor Chris Alexander brought Toronto the inaugural edition of Horror-Rama. The event was Toronto’s first and only all-horror convention. We were there and had a fantastic time, as did all the other attendees.
When Luis and Chris announced Horror-Rama 2015, nothing could keep us away. Bigger and better, the fest was held October 17-18 at Toronto’s Hyatt Regency Hotel. Guests included Debbie Rochon, Ian McClloch, Tristan Risk, Michael Berryman, Linnea Quigley and so many more. Year two was just as great as the first, and we cannot wait until Horror-Rama 2016. We’ve had the monster, then the bride…now to bring on the son!
Congrats Luis and Chris on another fantastic year!

It looks like you had a great time. I traveled back home last weekend and took my 10 year old son to his first horror convention. It was great sharing something that was so important in my life with my boy. I can honestly say, it ranks among my best convention experiences.
Glad to hear that. Although I was not as young as your boy when I went to my first con, I’ll never forget the feeling of belonging and inclusiveness. Your son will never forget what you gave him and I’m so glad you guys could share it together. Any cool guests at your con?
Mostly I wanted to get my son’s picture with George Romero and John Amplas.
I know exactly what you mean about inclusiveness. Since I grew up in the area, I got to catch up with quite a few people I knew and meet a few others. I talked more on Saturday than I do in a normal week! My voice was shot for a few days, but it was a complete blast.
I didn’t go to my first convention until I was 19 or 20, but it was an incredible thing to share with him.
