We reviewed Land of Doom here and it’s a groin-kicking good time!
On this week’s podcast we look at this Mad Max homage, with a chick. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and features a warrior princess who reluctantly teams up with a soldier-of-fortune type to fend off a gang of roving leather-clad dune buggy and motorbike riders. This “Raiders” gang is dressed as WWE wrestling stalwarts Demolition and the Legion of Doom. In the course of their travels, the intrepid duo is forced to fight off cannibals bearing crossbows and extremely unconvincing French accents, as well as Turkish sand people Star Wars rip-offs.
